Leah is a proud graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned a bachelor's degree in biology. She completed her nurse assistant (CNA) certification in 2018 and worked in the memory care unit of an assisted living facility for her clinical experience. After obtaining this certification, she worked as an in-home caregiver for older adults with cognitive impairment and physical disabilities. Through her years of working as a personal caregiver for several families and strengthening those bonds over time, she developed a passion for individualized care and activities that are centered around deep, trusting, and personal relationships. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, animals, and being outside in nature.
